Description

Training in brief

This practical training teaches your employees to work safely and responsibly with safety lines, in order to prevent accidents due to bad or wrongfully used safety lines.

Demonstrably safe work at height

Safe handling of safety lines demands the necessary knowledge and skills, especially because safety lines are frequently used in inaccessible places, e.g. silo’s and tanks. As employer, you are legally required to deploy the right working equipment for the activities in your organisation and make specially trained employees responsible for the selection hereof. Also, you must be able to prove that these employees are verified in their expertise. When it cannot be demonstrated that your employees possess the proper knowledge and skills, you will risk a substantial fine.

Goal of the training

The training ‘Working with Safety Lines A + B + IRATA Examination Level I’’ seamlessly connects to basic training ‘Working with Safety Lines B’. Your employees continue to delve into working safely and responsibly with safety lines, in order to prevent accidents due to bad or wrongfully used safety lines. The achieved certificate is your proof of an employee who meets the requirements according to the Scaffolding directive.

STE provides this training in cooperation with Height Specialists, specialized in Rope Access techniques.

Exam for STE-certificate

The training is completed with an exam. Graduated candidates receive a STE-certificate.

Entry requirements

Candidates have at the least completed ‘Working with Safety Lines B’.
